Me and the family came for bingo and had a great time. Great beer and food truck available, try the fried shrimp.

We went on Friday around 9pm and it was a quiet night which was great for us, staff was really helpful and friendly. We all had the cider and we liked it a lot. Big place, opened to the outside with a small food truck outside. Would definitely return.

Super casual & a great spot for meetups ! I visited Astral Brewing for the first time with a meetup group I'm a part of. It had a lot of open space and a great variety of drinks (even for non-beer fans). There was actually another meetup happening at the same time which, for me personally, was super awesome! It allowed different groups to mingle and learn about what each has to offer (if they so choose). Location: Since it's located in the GOOF area, it's pretty easy to get to. It is hard to see though, as it doesn't have clear signage and is tucked away behind a mechanic shop. That's the main reason I couldn't quite give it 5 stars (though I wish 4.5 was an option!). Parking: There's tons of parking from what I could tell. We had no problem grabbing a spot. Food: Though we didn't try the food truck, we loved that there was one there. Having that option really adds to the place. Drinks: There's a wide selection of brews and I heard they were great (I'm not a beer drinker myself so I'm not judging based on this). They did have a wine option as well AND a cider option (be still my heart - I love cider). Other things: They did have some tvs playing various channels (I believe at least 1 was a sport game). They also had a simpsons pinball machine ! Overall this is a great place to visit or host a group gathering/meetup. There's already a 5k running group that meets there Wednesdays so definitely try that out if you're into running !

It's a bit hidden and not much else is around (without driving) making this a great warehouse brewery! Their IPAs were pretty tasty so try a flight if you can. We found ourselves in an informal Great Dane gathering, which seriously made my day. The food truck was an Oaxacan place, which was amazing. Definitely will try it again!

Decided to explore a new brewery! Parking was very easy as there's a lot with plenty of spots. there's indoor and outdoor seating with some space-themed decoration. I ordered a flight and also asked for a recommendation on a west coast IPA. Both bartenders were very easy to talk to, knowledgeable and extremely nice! Unfortunately, when I went, the food truck got cancelled last minute. Not their fault :) Love this spot! Very chill, great location, wide selection of beers and nice employees! Will come again! Ps: bathrooms were very clean, ladies

This is a pretty cool place! It's not huge. Open air, which it was beautiful when I went. Nice selection of crafts beers. I think they had around 10 in total. Even a good sour. They are dog friendly. It did get busy around 4pm on a Sunday. This isn't a place I'd stay a long time, but worth the visit. Unfortunately, and I'm not docking a star here, the food truck was too busy to even acknowledge as I stood right outside the window for 5 minutes. Whatever happened to customer service? Say "Hey, I'll be with you in a minute."

The reviews don't lie - Astral Brewery is freaking amazing. Like, are you there right now? Because if not, WHY NOT?! So in all seriousness, this brewery is the bee's knees. I'm not even the biggest beer person, but Astral offers a small selection of cider and wines for people like me. From what I've been told by others, the beer is quite delicious and legit. The selection definitely seems to expand every other week. Like other Yelpers have stated, the staff is pretty swell to boot. Really personal peeps and always eager to help you with your beverage selections. The venue itself is also pretty grand - there's a rather spacious and roomy indoor/covered area and also a smaller patio out front, for when the Houston weather is cooperating. The brewery coordinates also vegan food trucks every Sunday and often during the weekdays, along with other vegan events (huge yay) and I'm wondering why don't more breweries do this? Obviously, this appeals to my interests, but it's an awesome way for Houstonians to try some awesome plant-based foods. I believe there's also a steak night and trivia night too - so there really is something for everyone.

Awesome venue! Not all their beers are my favorite, but they know how to take care of customers. Super friendly staff and unique choices. The music selection was choice and we were never neglected. The food truck was good but for our party they allowed outside food. Their sours are spot on and the chocolate layer cake stout is awesome.

Now this is a dope Brewery! My first brewery in HOU I've had the pleasure of checking out. Located in the Independent Heights neighborhood, they carry a sweet 16 selection of taps with different kinds of suds. Favorites include the Psychonaut IPA and the Darkness Falls Porter. Plenty of seating exists and there's always a food truck (usually tacos) just outside to satisfy eats cravings. Beer gives you munchies! A back room for ping pong (or beer pong?), shuffleboard, life-size Connect 4, and other board games exist to get your competitive juices flowing after you've indulged your copious amounts of brews. A TV showing whatever sports game always plays at the bar area if you need something to watch unless it's Soccer; in that case you can avoid the tube altogether! Reminds me of breweries back home in Loudoun. The nostalgia hit me after my first sip. Cheers!
